Chesterfield and District Shopmobility's attention to service and detail has made us a leader in our field. With a wide range of mobility scooters, power chairs and manual wheelchairs to choose from, you're sure to find the hire equipment to meet your needs! If you require assistance, our qualified staff and volunteers will provide you with expert guidance and safety instructions.

Poolsbrook Country Park has woodlands, lakes and meadows, play areas for children, cafe, picnic sites and four miles of trails which are easy accessed by mobility scooter.

The park is home to many forms of wildlife, and the Coffee Stop Cafe is found in the Pavilion.

Holmebrook Valley Country Park is a large country park on the outskirts of Chesterfield with a beautiful lake, which is home to different kinds of wildlife.

There are trails through and around the park. You will find picnic tables at the Linacre Road car park and also at the lake.

Journey around the ponds at Hardwick and see what wildlife we can discover. With birds to spot and trees to identify there are lots of fun activities for your family adventure.

Peter Fidler Nature Reserve was once part of the Midland Railway taking passengers from Chesterfield to Mansfield. Now you can enjoy spending time in the Doe Lea Valley alongside nature reserves and the countryside sites.

Easy access for all, with footpaths, parking and picnic areas.

• Membership – Which is £10 for each year and includes insurance for the equipment
• Town Centre Service – A daily service for the Chesterfield town centre, Ravenside Retail Park and Spire Walk Business Park
• Short Term Hire Service – for holidays, weekends away or that special occasion!

• Long Term Hire – Which may be one month or longer for use in your local community

• Out and About in the Countryside – This is a new service for our  scooters.  This equipment will take you down the many  trails in and around Chesterfield, and may also be used at such places as Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle and the Chesterfield Canal (Please ring for further details)

• Buddy Service – This service is for anyone who has never ridden a mobility scooter or used a Power Chair.  We can offer either a single one hour lesson or a course of instruction and guidance to help you progress with more confidence
